Music Video: MED - "Classic" feat. Talib Kweli
Stones Throw needs some love on this blog. Probably throw in some J Rocc and Aloe Blacc in future posts.
Quick Hit: Hodgy Beats - "Mystery"
Hodgy Beats from OFWGKTA or Odd Future for short (ironically), dropped this a couple of days ago. The sample is from old school English rock band, Moody Blues.
It's a love it or hate it thing when it comes to Odd Future. A lot of people think they're over the top with their music, others might think they're vastly overrated. Whatever the case might be, they really know how to get themselves out there. And that's key when you're trying to get you and your music out there.

Video: Toro Y Moi - "Still Sound"
If someone refers you to the horribly named chillwave movement, it's most likely you'll be introduced to Chaz Bundick. Also known as Toro Y Moi. This is his music video for his song "Still Sound" off his second full length album, "Underneath The Pine." The video is shot with a super 8 camera with 8mm film, giving it a nice retro visual matching the retro funk.

Latest News: Rihanna adds J. Cole to her world tour
Rihanna has added up-and-coming Roc Nation artist J. Cole as one of the opening acts for her world tour, supporting her platinum selling album "Loud." Rumor has it that ticket sales has been dwindling and adding a fresh face with a huge fan base like J. Cole can alleviate the problem.
J. Cole is currently signed under Jay-Z's Roc Nation label and is awaiting his release of his soon to be titled full length album, slated some time this year. Cole is known for his strong lyrical flow and stories within his lyrics. J. Cole dropped his "Friday Night Lights" mix tape back in November 12, 2010 and is well-received among critics and audiences.
Cole joins the tour after touring Europe with rap superstar Drake. Cee-Lo Green is also added on the tour on select dates. Both Rihanna and Cole will also be performing at festivals during the summer. Cole will be featured at Bonaroo, while Rihanna will be at festivals in Norway, United Kingdom, and Brazil. Check the enormous list of scheduled dates after the jump.
On Rotation: Frank Ocean - Nostalgia/Ultra
Frank Ocean of Odd Future dropped this and is now picking up momentum. Ocean seems to be the antithesis to the OFWGKTA/Odd Future crew's shock and awe rap style like Tyler, The Creator, with his smooth vocals. If you like throwback 90's R&B, get on it. You can download it for free HERE through Ocean's own Tumblr page.
