Rihanna has added up-and-coming Roc Nation artist J. Cole as one of the opening acts for her world tour, supporting her platinum selling album
"Loud." Rumor has it that ticket sales has been dwindling and adding a fresh face with a huge fan base like J. Cole can alleviate the problem.
J. Cole is currently signed under Jay-Z's Roc Nation label and is awaiting his release of his soon to be titled full length album, slated some time this year. Cole is known for his strong lyrical flow and stories within his lyrics. J. Cole dropped his "
Friday Night Lights" mix tape back in November 12, 2010 and is well-received among critics and audiences.
Cole joins the tour after touring Europe with rap superstar Drake. Cee-Lo Green is also added on the tour on select dates. Both Rihanna and Cole will also be performing at festivals during the summer. Cole will be featured at Bonaroo, while Rihanna will be at festivals in Norway, United Kingdom, and Brazil.
